This is a very short Western yarn that took me less than 30 minutes to read. I can imagine Grandpa telling this story to the youngsters, who said "Gramp, you should make this into a book!" Unfortunately, good story-tellers don't always make good authors, and this book could really have benefited from an editor and the use of a spell-checker. It was a good yarn, and I tried to imagine myself "hearing" this story being told rather than getting hung up on the writing - but as a writer myself, I found the spelling and punctuation errors to be distracting. If you don't mind that, though, the story is entertaining and worth a read.Product details

Although I have not read this book yet. The previews seem promising and something I can get into IN the future.
Beautiful in its simplicity. Haven't read a thought provoking book since the road by cormac McCarthy. Love this. I will look for more of Mr.Chandler.
Kind of stories my mother likes to read. said it kept her interested, hard to put the book down. Good price
This was my first read from this author, and although short, the story grabs you up. I found myself flipping pages, excited about the read. The only down side is that this is a short story. I'd like to see this story roll out into a novella, or a full length novel.
